Marina Helou is a 31 year old mother and State Representative in São Paulo by Rede Sustentabilidade, The party for sustainability in Brasil. She founded and currently participates in several political iniatives, such as Vote Nelas, a multi-party initiative to elect more women in Brazil. Prior to politics, Marina worked for 8 years at Natura, a Brazilian cosmetics company that owns The Body Shop, where she initiated the diversity and inclusion team. Marina holds a BA in Public Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EAESP-FGV) and had a specialization in leadership and sustainability from Fundação Dom Cabral / Cambridge University. She advocates for a progressive platform, that includes early childhood development, water and conservation, human rights, and encouraging political participation. She believes that politics must be a space for all.
